For dancers, getting their first pair of pointe shoes is an exciting milestone. I had the opportunity to capture this dancer’s first year on pointe. Pointe is very challenging, so it’s always excited to succeed into earning your shoes! We took the evening in Marietta Square, and danced around at first with a white tutu, and ending the night in a flowy lace dance dress.
