Although I’m based out of Atlanta, I always love a good trip to Athens – and this wedding was definitely one of them. I first met this couple during their engagement session at UGA’s botanical gardens (which is one of my favorite places to shoot as well) – they were such a sweet couple, and just had the tendency to keep each other smiling the entire session. I was pumped about their wedding in May after that session. The ceremony was held at the Catholic Center at UGA, which features some gorgeous stained glass windows by the way, and ended at the Hotel Indigo in the Rialto Room. A pretty sweet place!

One of my favorite parts about the wedding was this couple’s playlist. I discovered we all shared our love for 90s/00s rock! One of their closing songs for the night was even a System of a Down song. Believe me when I say I managed to snap some photos, and rock out at the same time. The group had such a fun energy, and I was so excited that I was able to capture this special day. Congratulations you two!
