When you use the word ‘grace’ or ‘beautiful’ – ballet is usually one of the first words that comes to my mind. Maybe it’s because I’ve literally been dancing ballet my entire life, or that when I’m not photographing people, I’m usually at the dance studio sharing my love for pointing toes with younger generations. Whatever it may be, I was excited to play a role in this “Degas” inspired wedding shoot alongside some amazing wedding vendors. Set at the Westside Warehouse in west Midtown, we partnered with two professional dancers to bring to life a couple within this ballet-focused, romantic themed styled shoot. Hues of blues and pinks were everywhere with a focus on the softness and romantic aspect of this dance style. Here’s a glimpse into the beautiful work and dancers that I got to capture.
