I was so excited when this sweet friend reached out for me to capture her and her fiancé to celebrate their upcoming marriage. We had previously worked together, and I was thrilled she chose me to help lock in these memories. Set in north Georgia, they held an intimate ceremony with family in the beautiful and charming Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega. I’m so in love with this little chapel, and was excited to finally shoot here.
Family was involved from all angles in this wedding ceremony. I loved seeing all of the personal touches intertwined, from handmade details to involving family members during the ceremony. The intimate wedding featured Filipino traditions, including the Candle-Veil-Cord-Coin ceremony. The groom also performed Mano Po to the bride’s parents showing respect.
Juliette Chapel has one of the big bells at the front – and this couple rocked the ringing of it. It also triggered some candid laughter once they realized it was heavier than they thought.
These two were ready to have fun during their portrait photo session. This involved standing on the wooden swing in 4″ heels, and breaking into their best dance moves. Everyone here was so genuinely nice and welcoming. I was glad to be a part of Jared + Kat’s Juliette Chapel intimate wedding celebration. Congratulations to you two, and here’s to many happy years!
