Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time for both of you - and I know wedding planning can sometimes be overwhelming. First, I want to thank you for visiting my site to learn how I can help.
My job is to preserve these lasting, new memories so you have them after your big day - and can cherish them any time you'd like. I want your photos to feel authentic and tell your story - so when you look, you see it all: the memories made, the atmosphere and the emotions.
It's important to choose a photographer that makes you feel confident and excited. After exploring my website, if you feel we may be a good fit, I would love to connect to talk a bit more about your story and upcoming wedding plans.

Christine
One question I get asked is how I describe my style. I always start off saying that at the core, I'm a storyteller. Capturing your own narrative, and telling the pieces and parts that you make you two unique. I aim for my photos to be a nice blend of photojournalism and art with a contemporary yet timeless look and feel. I'd describe it is vibrant, bold, and natural.
I achieve this starting at the consultation, aiming to establish an understanding of your overall vision - and spend the entire journey getting to know you and your partner's personalities.
Then I can translate those into capturing the moments and photos that feel natural and authentic for you two, as you celebrate these exciting milestones.

From the consultation all the way to the end of your wedding day, you will spend a lot of time with your photographer. What you can expect in this time is us getting to know each other, planning out the details and vision, and capturing this in an organized manner so it's one less thing for you two to stress about in your planning. In our first planning session, we'll talk about the timeline, your vision, what's important to the two of you, etc. In our second planning session, usually 1-2 weeks before your wedding day, we'll finalize the photo timeline, your formal photo list and all the must-have shots that are important for you both.
During your engagement session, what you can expect is to walk away having a great time! I aim to make our engagement sessions feel fun and natural. We'll save ourselves from doing any stiff or forced poses. But to have a fun engagement session, you have to be in the right frame of mind. Here's some tips for a successful and enjoyable engagement session:
It's no fun taking photos on an empty stomach. To ensure you feel energized, try drinking water and eating (even a light snack) before for a little boost.
I know that makes it sound more stressful, not less... but if you take the time to do the pre-work in choosing your outfits, session day feels so much smoother!
I tell my couples that their engagement session is essentially a date - that you happen to be photographing. I want you to take a deep breath, let loose a little bit and enjoy spending a fun evening together taking photos and being a little silly.
Don't forget to groom your hands and nails (for both of you!) as well as get your ring cleaned. Also, if you don't do your makeup often, do a test run on another day - or think about scheduling your makeup trial the same day!
