This session was at one of my favorite national parks: Sope Creek Ruins was once a paper mill, run by Marietta Paper Mills incorporated in 1859. Today, pieces of the old mill stands as ruins, and as part of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, in Marietta.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day for this engagement session – the weather was perfect and the park wasn’t busy at all. We started the session with a hike to the ruins and the creek, with their sweet puppy. After exploring the park a bit, we headed back up to the lot with donuts in hand and a retro Ford truck as our backdrop. We got a bonus beautiful golden sky peeking through a couple of the trees too. Here’s some highlights from this engagement session – can’t wait to capture their wedding day this fall!
