What’s something I could eat at any time of the day? Waffles. Abby + Colin’s Sunday brunch wedding at Vecoma at the Yellow River had just that – and so much more… family from all over the country, personalized decor showing their journey as a couple, tasty brunch delights, and lots and lots of dancing. Despite the rainy weather, the day was full of warmth and festivities.

We started the day at the hotel, getting ready – where I just fell in love with all the details. The shoes, the vintage-vibe jewelry, and oh the dress… I have a special place in my heart for these 20s styled dresses.

This first look was so, so sweet. They were just so excited to see each other – and the reaction was golden. I love first looks – and this one was just a reminder as to why. The intimate moment where you get to just enjoy checking each other out before the crazy of the day – and calm your pre-wedding nerves before it’s time to start.

The ceremony was filled with many Jewish traditions, and had such a peaceful ambiance with the backdrop of the soothing rain. After the ceremony, we went straight to the reception. Brunch buffet, breakfast beverages, and lots of dancing.

I’ve got to say one of my favorite parts was the dad-daughter dance. So much energy, so much fun. I loved how much fun they had during their dance, and they were all smiles and funky dance moves. After an afternoon of dancing, this couple ended the day with an awesome bubble exit – my favorite daytime wedding exit. Congratulations to you two!
