Joanna and Joseph’s industrial wedding at Brickyard in Marietta, Georgia was full of family, laughter, and some seriously hilarious moments from the friends of the couple. Set in a historic industrial building, Brickyard’s white-washed brick walls made for a perfect minimalist setting for Joanna and Joseph’s wedding day.
How They Met
Joanna and Joseph met at church while hosting bible study together. After spending much time together, their relationship grew and on one very special Christmas Eve, Joseph proposed! Infusing their Korean culture into their wedding day was important to the couple. From ceremony traditions, amazing Korean food, and sweet treats made by the parents at the head table, the day was full of traditions that were meaningful to the couple.
Joanna’s style was delicate and pretty. She wore a beautiful ballgown by David’s Bridal and the most gorgeous crystal hair pin. Joseph looked classic in a suit by Men’s Wearhouse and a custom engraved tie clip.
The First Look
The look on Joseph’s face says it all! The couple’s first look was definitely a highlight of the day. Just look at those smiles!
The ceremony was understated and pretty for this industrial wedding. The suspended greenery over the aisle made a bold statement against the white-washed walls of the old brick building. A flower man lead the way ahead of Joanna’s big entrance which is looking to be a big trend right now.
Joseph not only bakes donuts but his family owns a donut bakery in the area. So donuts for dessert were a must have on their wedding day.
Joanna and Joseph’s friends were all about making the evening entertaining and engaging for everyone. Friends put together funny skits, and also made a trivia game about the couple for all guests to play.
The couple’s grand exit was sweet and fun with a flurry of bubbles! Everyone loved this moment and it made for some amazing photos to end the evening.
