Navigating the virtual world during 2020 has been very interesting. While normally during consultations with wedding couples, we may meet at a coffee shop over a warm cup of chai latte (and probably a cookie or cake, no shame). We’re likely chatting and laughing about their backstory and upcoming wedding plans. Now we’re operating virtually to get to know each other. So one of my favorite parts about these engagement sessions this summer has been officially meeting my couples in person. And for this session it was at the Green Meadows Preserve park for their engagement session!

Engagement Session in West Marietta Area

Rob & Kayla were an absolute blast during their summer engagement session at Green Meadows Preserve. The gorgeous and colorful flowers were still blooming…and matched perfectly with Kayla’s floral dress if I might add. The butterflies were also happily posing in the back of our photos and being super social. What a stunning floral backdrop to have!

This couple is one that just absolutely loves being in each other’s company – and making the other laugh. The session was so light-hearted and interactive. These two even had me laughing behind the camera too. After dancing and laughing around the garden, we did a quick change before hiking out to the field area. We spent the final moments of the engagement session here capturing even more fun moments. We practically had the entire Green Meadows field to ourselves – always a win, especially in this world of social distancing!

After spending some time with these two in person and getting to know them just a little bit more, I’m even more excited about working with them over the next year. Plus I can’t wait to capture their big day in spring 2021! Congratulations Rob & Kayla on your happy engagement.
