Piedmont Park Engagement // Shannon + Michael

I first met this couple at a coffee shop in the city. I remember thinking how contagious their smiles were, and how I’d love to help tell their story. Fast forward to now, I can say I just loved this Piedmont Park engagement session – and bonus puppy points… their furbaby is one of the most photogenic dogs I’ve ever captured. We kicked off their session at Studioplex. This place is such an interesting mix of industrial vibes intertwined with beautiful greenery. And then of course, featuring our photogenic puppy. I just couldn’t get over how amazing their dog was during this portion.

We did the second half of our session at Piedmont Park. We explored the lakeside, the nearby murals on the Beltline, and of course, the Atlanta skyline. My favorite moment was toward the end of the (quite chilly) session, I prompted these two to dance. And what I got was golden. They both broke out in their own personal dance moves, which of course started a train of laughter for the following few minutes. It’s moments like these that I love capturing. The genuine laughter, the fun moments together. Congratulations, and I look forward to capturing your wedding!
