I’m excited to share a recap from the 2022 Big Fake Wedding Atlanta. This was such a fun event to do with a talented group of Atlanta wedding vendors. The Big Fake Wedding is a modern take on a bridal show which showcases local vendors and the vow renewal of a real couple. The couple, Erin and Brian were accompanied by their 4 children for this special vow renewal celebrating 15 years of marriage.
Wedded Wonderland
The theme for the event was Tea Time. Guests took a trip down the rabbit hole and were welcomed with whimsical, colorful, and eclectic details. The vibrant color palette of coral, light pink, and robin’s egg blue made for delightfully dreamy details throughout the event. Weddings by Epic, Rosely Events, Something Borrowed Blooms, and Boho Mama worked their magic to transform Factory Atlanta into a whimsical wonderland filled with vintage teacups, delicate florals, and mismatched patterns.
It was dreamy fairytale vibes with the bride’s tulle A-line gown from Vow’d, clear heels, and dewy makeup by Vigilante Cosmetics. The groom wore a classic blue suit and got into the spirit with a mad hatter-inspired top hat.
It was a joyful and emotional vow renewal for Erin, Brian, and their 4 children that joined them for the ceremony. Guests had in hand programs designed by Wedding Storybook Programs, featuring photos from our couples session at Piedmont Park. I loved getting the opportunity to collaborate with this talented vendor to showcase the couple’s story to guests. There was not a dry eye in the house, and the couple celebrated with a surprise pop of streamers as they made their way back down the aisle, hand in hand as a family.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the bar where whiskey spiked tea was served along with tiny cakes, and champagne. The vibe was fun and relaxed with faux turf, lawn chairs, and fluffy floor pillows for lounging.
