Emily and Matt first met like many couples on a dating app. They initially bonded over their love of art and museums and watching Game of Thrones. After 3 years of dating, Matt proposed with family tucked close by and friends waiting to celebrate the newly engaged couple. Their Roswell Mill wedding was lighthearted and filled with some special personal details, and I was delighted to help capture it for them.

Emily wore a beautiful A-line dress with illusion lace details and a glittery belt from Bridal Sense. She was all princess vibes with her post-ceremony sparkling tennis shoes! Matt looked dapper in his black suit by Men’s Wearhouse.

The First Look

Always a favorite moment of the day and a beautiful setting at Roswell Mill. This venue is right next to many natural photo spots including the bridge over Vickery Creek which made for some amazing portraits of the couple and their wedding party. But before this couple had their real first look, they did a fake first look with one of the groomsmen!

Roswell Mill Wedding Ceremony

Emily carried a bouquet of ranunculus, anemone, and blue thistle that was wrapped with photos of her grandparents in memory. Guests were welcomed with a polaroid guestbook station that is always a hit and fun to look through after the wedding. The couple chose a very unique detail for the ceremony, a live painter!

Winter Wedding Reception

The dinner reception was warm and glowy with candlelit tables and florals of fresh greens and white blooms. The couple and guests were on the dance floor all night having a blast. The evening ended with a chic dress change from Emily and a confetti send-off for the newlyweds. Congratulations Emily and Matt!
